2. Your right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you (or a third party you designate, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement. You can do this by:

You may use the model withdrawal form published by the European Commission (e.g. on the “Your Europe” portal), but it is not obligatory. To meet the 14-day deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired. We will send you an acknowledgment of receipt without delay (e.g. by email).

3. Effects of withdrawal and obligation to return goods

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (except for any additional costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer). We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to goods in transit when they are returned by you; we recommend that you use a trackable delivery service and keep proof of postage.

4. Condition of returned goods

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. In other words, you may unpack and inspect the product as you would in a shop, but you must not use the product beyond what is necessary to try it. If the product is sealed (e.g. blister packs or bottles with a seal), you should not break the seal if you intend to withdraw, unless the product is defective. If the goods are returned in a condition that indicates they have been used beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and functioning, we may deduct an amount from the refund to reflect the diminished value, or we may refuse the return if the product is no longer resaleable. We will inform you before making any deduction.

5. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

Under EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to certain types of contracts. In particular, the right of withdrawal may not apply to:

For standard orders of Vasothera or other products sold in sealed packaging: you may withdraw and return the product provided it is returned unopened (seal intact) or, if opened, only in the circumstances where the law still allows withdrawal (e.g. you have the right to examine the product; we will follow applicable national rules). If in doubt, contact us before opening the product and we will confirm whether return is possible.

6. Faulty or non-conforming goods

If the product is faulty, not as described, or does not conform to the contract, you have statutory rights (e.g. repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under the applicable consumer sales rules). In that case, please contact us with your order details and a description (and, if possible, photos) of the fault. We will investigate and, where appropriate, offer a repair, replacement or refund, including any reasonable cost of returning the faulty goods. Your right of withdrawal (sections 2–4) is separate from these rights; you may both withdraw within 14 days and, in addition, claim in respect of any defect.

7. How to return the product

To return a product:

  1. Notify us of your withdrawal or return request using the contact details in section 1, and state your order number (if you have one) and the reason for return.
  2. Pack the product securely, preferably in its original packaging if possible, to avoid damage in transit.
  3. Send the package to: Zephyroxdhor, Marnixstraat 168, 1016 TG Amsterdam, Netherlands. We recommend using a trackable service and keeping proof of postage.
  4. We will confirm receipt and process your refund in accordance with section 3. If we need any additional information (e.g. bank details for reimbursement), we will contact you.

Please do not send products without first contacting us; this helps us track returns and process refunds more quickly.

8. Refund method and timing

Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise with you. We will process the refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice or, if later, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or evidence that you have sent them back. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a few additional days for the refund to appear in your account. If you have not received the refund within a reasonable time, please contact us and we will follow up.

9. Non-EU customers

If you are not a consumer in the European Union, different rules may apply. We may still offer a voluntary return or satisfaction policy; please contact us to discuss. Any such voluntary policy does not affect your statutory rights in your country of residence.

10. Changes to this Return Policy

We may update this Return Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we make changes. Changes will not affect returns for orders placed before the change, except where the change is required by law or is more favourable to you. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
